Have you really said yes to your entrepreneurial calling? Does your heart beat in tune to your passion? Have you truly internalized what you need to understand to set one foot in front of the other and move in the direction of your dreams?
Your recipe for success lies within you and the nearest person in proximity to you and your dreams. In order to line up all the essentials and make this entrepreneurship work, you must be connected to your true passion, have accountability through another person, and persevere through even the toughest times to truly make it work.
Most of the time, our passions are evident to ourselves and the rest of the world. If you are a painter and your artwork portrays an authenticity and distinct flavor of your personality, then you are fulfilling your passion. If you are a poet and can move others with your words, there is passion. If you are a gifted speaker and can empower people with your stance on stage, you are in your power. However, depending on the stage of life that we are in, we may no longer feel passionate about painting, poetry, or speaking. What then? Life is a constant ability to access where we are in our life circumstances. For example, a woman just starting her family will not take as much time for her passions because of her family’s demands. Someone with most of the kids grown, can now seque into her favorite past time. A retired person may find that her idea of passionate pursuits have changed. Sometimes, it can be gut wrenching to decide what takes priority in your life. Sometimes, there are too many passions. Which one should I pursue? So, the first thing to do is to access where you are in your specific stage of life. How realistic is it to pursue your passion? How do you make room for it in your life. Just a little bit at a time. Make a list of favorite things you like to do. Then prioritize it. I once asked Ellie how do I incorporate my writing into my business? She said just set aside a certain time to do it everyday. Duh! That was hard. How come I didn’t think of the obvious? Why? Because you need someone to keep you accountable. Someone to answer both the tough and easy questions.
Accountability is the next step in fulfilling your goals, dreams, and aspirations. We all need a helping hand. That’s why this website was created. We need other people in our life we can bounce things off of; throw out an idea; ask for help. At times, the obvious is not at all clear to us. Sometimes, we have an off day; fall into a slump; get down in the dumps. For days like that, we need colleagues, mentors, coaches, and friends to lift us up and reinstill in us a sense of worth. Don’t fall into the trap of getting upset with yourself for having a bad day or not bringing in new people for a week or more, chastising yourself, feeling guilty, and asking yourself is this business really for me. Instead, call one of us and let us know how you feel. Understanding that we all fall into that trap occasionally allows us to feel less alone. Pick an accountability partner in your life. It could be one of us, your spouse, a best friend, or a co-worker. Ask that person to stay in close touch with you and ask you the tough questions. How many leads did you call today? How many emails and names did you get when out and about? How many follow-up phone calls were made? How many three-ways done? How many people did you send to your website? Did you do any self-development training? What did you read? What did you listen to? What did you learn? Did you share it with someone else? Could you give a 5 minute talk on a conference call about what you learned? Have you been on your training calls regularly? Do you help out on these calls? Do you promote your upline? Do you promote live events?
I know of a couple who made a deal with each other. He set a goal of getting 10 names and numbers every day as part of his prospecting. He then asked his wife to keep him accountable to that goal. He told her no matter what, that she was not to open the door to him when he came home from work unless he had those 10 names and numbers. He used the 10 bean system. In the morning, he put 10 beans in his pocket. Each time he had a new name and number, he transferred a bean from one pocket to the next. Once he had them all transferred he could go home.
One stormy, windy, rainy night after working long hours at the office, he came to the door and knocked like he usually did. His wife came to the door and asked him the same question always asked each day. “Did you transfer all 10 beans?” The husband gave her his best hangdog look and said, “I only have four left, but please let me in, just this once, I’ve had a hard day at the office and look at this lousy weather!”
“Sorry”, his wife replied. “You gave me strict orders to not let you in without all ten beans being transferred. Go out and finish your work!”
So, with grave, reluctant steps, the husband went down to the local Denny’s and transferred his last four beans.
Why is this illustration so powerful? Don’t you think the wife felt a little sorry for him? Don’t you think he felt she should make an exception just this once? Little things done over time make a big difference. He had an accountability partner that was not going to let him off the hook. They went from nothing to a 6 figure income per month in 8 months by doing that tiny, little habit everyday. Notice that perseverance kept him in the game. Now, find yourself a partner to keep you fulfilling your promises to yourself.
The above story also illustrates the need to persevere. This requires that you do not allow your emotions to be attached to the end results. You have to put on blinders, focus on the light ahead, resist the urge to take a break, slow down, turn aside, or change your mind for a 30 day period of time. See what results you will get. I often hear people say they worked hard for 4, 5, or 6 days but nobody signed up. Hey, that’s just the beginning of putting people in your pipeline. In our society today, everyone expects instant results. We are used to immediate gratification on anything we do. In this business, especially when just starting out, you need patience, blind focus, and durability. Anyone can do something for 30 days. So, go out there and set your pace. You see, setting your pace produces momentum. Getting in the flow is part of that momentum. It’s like an athlete reaching a euphoric high after a certain amount of exercise. They stay the course moment by moment as they work towards their endurance goals. You must do the same.
So, there you have it in a nutshell. Find your passion; get an accountability partner; and stay in the game consistently, persevering through all the pain, embarrassment, trials, and tribulations of becoming a self-sufficient, highly charged, recruiting machine…and do it with PASSION.

If you are considering launching your own home based business, I encourage you with all my heart! It is your opportunity to live a life by your own design. I attended Ellie Drake’s, “It Is Easier Done than Said” extravaganza event in Atlanta in early May, 07, and there I heard many highly successful home based entrepreneurs relate their own histories and how having their own businesses had enhanced their lives.
From their stories, I have distilled these five accounts:
1. I listened with reverence as a successful entrepreneurial woman stated simply, “I was determined that I would not put my children into day care.” She did not take at face value the fact that a second income was needed in their family, and she must work outside the home, and let someone else be the strongest influence in the lives of her children. With unwavering focus, she set about accomplishing two very important goals in her life: raising her own children, and additional income. Her mantra was not “There is no way,” but rather “I will find the way”. The home based business industry holds the answer for you if you have young children deserving your care and attention, and your bank account requires nourishment.
2. I listened in admiration to a single mom say “I was raising my girls by myself, and on food stamps! Nine months later I was driving my dream car, with the lifestyle that goes with it, and it’s all because this industry allows me to have a life of my own design.” This vibrant young woman is now enjoying the finest that life has to offer and is able to contribute, mentor, teach and learn in an environment where consistency and persistence and “coachability” pay off 100% of the time.
3. I listened with empathy as a veteran RN told of her burn out experience in health care and how she was able to transfer her own strong work ethic to a strong business model, and realize seven figure returns by following directions, and delivering her best to the opportunity she chose.
4. I listened in appreciation as a couple related their own experiences involving humbling debt and ill fortune, and being restored to a quality life through the strength of network marketing in their home based business. I shared their tears of relief and accomplishment as they inspired the audience with their belief in their industry and their selves.
5. I listened in awe as an immigrant woman of Iran, who was not able show her hair in her country of birth, told of her fear of the bombs that accented her childhood, and her strong intuitive belief that her dreams could come true in America! My sole stirred as she told of her father’s challenge when she arrived in this country, to burn the bridge behind, and look forward, be consistent, and persistent, and enjoy the fruits of this great nation. I laughed and cried as she wove the pieces of her journey into her stunning success tapestry, as a result of realizing the opportunity of free enterprise. I felt her joy as she introduced her family, all of whom have had their lives changed by the home –based business industry. As a result of this woman’s generosity of spirit, I know that I can do anything.
To those of you who are harboring self doubt, I offer this: Be glad you made the choice to take control, to work for yourself, but not by yourself, to exercise persistency and consistency, to have a life of your design, or…. regret that you did not.

Promoting an affiliate program can be one of the most profitable, and easiest ways to earn money online. No matter what experience, or Internet marketing knowledge you may have, you can still earn money online with affiliate programs, by promoting your affiliate program you will boost your online earnings, while building up a monthly pay check through residual income, allowing you the opportunity to work part time, or full time.
Promoting your affiliate program is undoubtedly the best way to earn money online, a lot of people will never reach the level of income they desire, or the amount of income an affiliate program is capable of generating. This article is intended to provide you guaranteed ways to generate targeted visitors to your website, resulting in more sales for you, and an ever increasing affiliate income, without spending a Dime.
Writing and distributing articles is without doubt, the most effective way of promoting your affiliate program and earn money online, I really can not stress just how effective writing quality, informative articles, and submitting them to the main article directories is, at driving targeted visitors to your website. [a quick search in your favourite search engine, will quickly find these for you]. When looking for directories a good tip is to search for directories that have a high PR [Popularity Rank], the articles you post in these article directories will quickly be found, and appear on the major search engines such as Google and Yahoo, and do not forget to add your author resource box at the end of your article, with a link back to your website, this will ensure you drive targeted traffic back to your website, boosting your sales and your affiliate income.
When planning your article, [tip its a good idea to plan your article around multiple keywords relating to your online business], the more keywords you have, the better the chance of getting a good position with Google, and other search engines. For instance if your affiliate program is about earning money online you could use that, other keywords could be “work at home” “earn online” “online income” etc. A useful tool to help with your keywords can be found, by typing in “free keyword research tool” into your favourite search engine. By getting ranked highly for different keywords for your online business, instead of just one, you multiply your efforts, driving more traffic to your website, increasing your sales and boosting your online income. Article writing is with out doubt one of the most powerful way of driving targeted traffic to your website without spending a Dime.
Another way of generating free traffic to your website, is to join online forums, [type “money making forums” into your favourite search engine], join as many of these as you want, the more the better, create your profile, and set up your signature file, all this is, is the link back to your website, you can then post either questions about any queries you might have, or you might know the answer to a problem someone else might have posted. Tip do not post just to advertise your website, this could be regarded as spamming, and most forums will not tolerate any form of spamming. Posting in forums is a great way of getting free traffic back to your website, and increasing your online income!
My final tip is for you to create your very own blog, [type in “free blogger account” into your favourite search engine]. On your blog you can have reviews of your affiliate program, useful tips, etc, all with links back to your website, or whatever you want to promote at the time, the idea of a blog is to presell, not sell, that is the job of your affiliate programs sales page, or website. [Tip do not forget to ping your blog after each new entry you make to it, type in “blog pingers” into your favourite search engine, for a list]. All a pinger does is alert the search engines that there is new content at your blog, after a while your blog will get a page ranking of its own, creating and driving more and more targeted traffic to your website, further multiplying your sales, and boosting your affiliate income even further.
Following these simple steps outlined above, and your online income will rapidly increase, by spending a couple of hours a week, each week, implementing these steps you will quickly be receiving a large affiliate income each month, for years to come and all with out spending a thing!
To your success

Beverage Vending Machines didn’t just get popular. They are relatively amazing, for they were already in existence as early as 215 B.C. During this time, ancient Egyptians were using a device that has been identified to dispense holy water at places of worships after depositing a coin. In the United States, vending machines were introduced in 1888 when the Adams Gum company started to sell their penny gum products using such machines.
See your favorite beverage vending machine in a subway train station? Or the compact disc album of your favorite music artist in the corner of the town plaza? Those are just few manifestations that vending machines are popular for in America. You can see them almost everywhere you go.
From its humble beginnings, the vending machine business has started its rapid growth. A business report from 2005 states that the vending industry has increased its net sales nearly 40 percent. Starting from chewing gum, vending machines now dispenses everything from sodas to compact discs (CDs) to condoms.
The success of vending industry is attributed to the combined use of technology and mechanisms in different vending equipment. However, this article will focus its discussion of the different parts of beverage vending machines and its relative functions since it is one of the most commonly seen dispensing equipment around. Continue reading and explore what is behind the popularity and success of vending machines.
One of the pioneer products in the vending machine industry has been selling beverages. Usually, beverage vending machines work by selecting the type of beverage you want. You will be required to insert several coins or paper money; the amount will be posted on the machine, in the coin slot. Once the machine detects that the money you have deposited is sufficient enough to purchase the desired beverage, it will dispense the beverage of your choice. Modern beverage vending machines are now accepting paper bills as well as from coins.
Manufacturers of such vending machines usually make use of the same materials as a refrigerator. Platinum finishes and polystyrene panels are used to sustain the cold temperature inside the machine. In order to load the beverages, it has a large slide where the beverages are to be placed to load them into the machine. It also has selection buttons placed in front of the machines in order to facilitate the purchase of the merchandise.
At the end of each bin, the machine has a rotor that will drop the selected beverage can into a chute. The chute will serve as the cans passageway to a ramp where the merchandise will slide to the dispensing area. Presto, you have your selected beverage fresh and cold.
Each bin is equipped with a sensor on its back wall. It will detect if the contents are less than its full capacity and needs to be reloaded immediately. If it is needed to be refilled, the light on the selection button of that particular beverage will flash red.
Some of these parts are also present in other vending machines that sell other merchandise. Without these parts, vending equipment and the vending machine industry would not exist.

Sometimes a home-based business is not just something a mother does to spend time with her children. It can be an idea husband and wife develops in order to have something that they can do together. How well they can work together depends upon the strength of the marriage and the couple in general because some people cannot work together and live together at the same time.
What kind of business is typically that of a couple? Men are not typically the in-office kind of people unless they come from an executive background. It is more likely to find a married couple working in the construction or remodeling business with the husband doing the work while the wife handles the accounting and paperwork end of the business.
Another business that is becoming more popular with husbands and wives is that of operating a web building and hosting business. Quite often what happens in that kind of business is that one of the team works on the website building while the other team member will recruit writers to write the content for the client sites that they build.
It’s important to remember if you are considering operating a business with your spouse that it means you will not have any time away from each other, especially not if the business is one that is done solely in the home such as accounting or other types of computer based businesses. Many people are even working at home today as credit card processors, data entry clerks, secretaries, and even lawyers. The opportunities for working at home have increased substantially with the introduction of the internet, and with gas being so high, more couples are choosing to work at home together. Of course, you have to be aware of potential problems that can arise unless you separate the business from the personal side. If you are working with your spouse, you should work as if he or she was just any other business partner rather than your spouse. Working together in a professional capacity will help keep the premise of spending all day and all night with your spouse.
Teamwork can be quite satisfying as long as you work with each other and not against each other. No one should be totally in charge unless you choose to separate duties such as the actual project work and the office work, and whatever you do with division of duties should be agreed upon by each of you. Make your home business pleasurable rather than allowing it to breakdown the marital bonds. Learn to work together as a team, and you will accomplish what many couples don’t: making your business a huge success without straining the relationship.

If you have a 9 to 5 job, you no doubt have had some very pleasant daydreams about working from home. You know the kind: you wake up any time you like, put your feet up on your desk (complete with your fuzzy slippers), blithely start a load of laundry between phone calls, happily plant flowers during your lunch break, grab your laptop and head to the park with your kids.
Working from home is the dream of millions of corporate workers who would love the freedom of being their own boss. While there is a definite upside to working at home (yes, you can wear your fuzzy slippers whenever you like!), do you really to know what it takes to work day-in, day-out from your home?
There are certain characteristics of a successful home business owner that have little to do with the love of unfettered freedom (although that certainly does help).
Before you take the leap and join the ranks of the 20+ million Americans working from home, ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? You need to be self-assured and have an “I can do it myself” attitude. Period. Okay, you can have your weak moments, but overall, you do need to have confidence in yourself and your talents — and the ability to communicate that to other people, namely, your potential clients.
2. Do you have a working knowledge of finance, marketing, record-keeping and secretarial skills? Don’t be fooled into thinking that because you’re “the boss” that you are exempt from grunt work — including dusting your own office furniture and backing up your own computer files. While there may come a time when you can hire people to do this for you, you will drive yourself into bankruptcy if you have a prima-donna attitude.
3. Are you an expert at something? You need to have a solid idea of what kind of business you will have at home. Having several years of experience in your line of work in the corporate arena will be invaluable in helping you get clients — which will be the lifeblood of your business.
4. Do you have a cushion? Not only for your chair, but in your bank account. You will either need a spouse working full-time with benefits and/or three to six months of living expenses tucked away in a savings account.
5. Can you work alone? Can you live without the water-cooler gossip, meetings, lunch with colleagues every day? Running a home business can be a lonely proposition. However, this can be remedied by joining a network of other work-at-home professionals or your local Chamber of Commerce. Once you’ve made those connections that sense of being trapped on a desert island will begin to disappear.
6. Do you have a strong work ethic? If you work from home, it is all too easy to get distracted by things that have nothing to do with work — like Internet chat rooms, the TV, the neighbors, you name it — and can easily sap your time which IS money.
7. Do you have the support of your family? Working from home can seem like you are not working at all…after all, who is looking over your shoulder? It is easy for family members not to take what you do seriously, particularly if you don’t take yourself or your business seriously. Make sure you set yourself up with an office that is not used for anything else — this is particularly important for tax purposes if you want to deduct the space of your home office. You also need to explain your work arrangements with your friends, former coworkers and family and set definitely office hours so you will not be endlessly interrupted by family members or friends who discover you’re now “at home” and available to run errands.
8. Do you have passion, a vision, and a desire to succeed? You need to love what you do. A threadbare cliché? Perhaps, but at the end of the day, what’s the point of having a home business if you are not nuts about it? That zeal is what will get you through the rough spots and keep you plugging away when you start to think that maybe you’re crazy for starting a home business.
9. Do you know how to keep it all in balance? Ironically, running a home business can leave you little time to be with your family because you’re always working. It is important to be able to put up a strong barrier between your family life and work life. Not doing this will lead to burn-out and very strained family relationships. And, isn’t that why you wanted to leave corporate life in the first place?

by Get Paid To Take A Survey
If you knew that you could get paid to take a survey, and then were told where to go to find the survey would you get online and take it? If you’re like most people who love money, the answer is yes. What could be easier than getting paid obscene amounts of money to take surveys? Not much, especially when you consider that you can take the survey anywhere you have an internet connection. This means that you can get paid to take surveys between classes, during lunch breaks or even at your regular job if your employer doesn’t care about internet surfing. If you’re at home and feel like making some extra cash, you can get paid to take a survey from the comfort of your own home, in your underwear if you’d like!
If you want to get paid to take a survey, there are about a gazillion sites you can go to that claim to give you all of the leads you need. Unfortunately, most of those sites are scams and you’ll never make back the money you spent on your membership fee. Since I’ve been working in the industry, I’ve seen just about every site that comes up and what each has to offer. In my experience, the only site that is worth joining is PaidSurveysEtc.com. PaidSurveysEtc.com gives you all of the tools you need to make up to $3,500 each month taking surveys and participating in focus groups.
The site even teaches you how to get paid to do mundane, every day things like drive your car around town or eat out at your favorite restaurants. I’ve never seen any easier way to make money, and the fact that you can do it at home and at your own pace is amazing.
