There are many things more important than capital when starting an MLM Business. Sure, Capital is nice and will assist you to get things of to a great start but even if you have the capital and you don’t have the following x things in place, you will most likely still be unsuccessful.

Attitude
You must have the right attitude to start an MLM Business. This attitude must be a can do attitude and any stumbling blocks that you encounter along the way you just have to overcome. You will encounter some problems on your journey to success, everyone does, but if you have the right attitude you can just sail on by them and be forever grateful for the challenge.

Structure
You have to be structured and organized in your approach to your business. This means you have to have a very clear and definite system that you use to keep in contact with your downline and to follow up with you leads. This has to be very easy to follow and if at all possible documented. You will find that your life and your MLM business will be a lot easier to manage when you are organized.

Conviction
You must have conviction in what it is that you are doing and be able to demonstrate this conviction to your downline. After all, your downline will use your conviction to motivate and model themselves by so it is important that you have it and it shines through.

Belief
You have to have belief. Belief in yourself and belief in the MLM. You are going to come across stacks of people who will happily go out of their way to try and sabotage both you and your business. These people will say all sorts of things about MLM’s being Pyramid schemes and being scams. If you hold the belief that you will be successful, you can rise about these doubters and brush them away. When it’s all said and done, MLM’s are just another way to sell products that puts the profits in the hands of the distributors, nothing illegal, immoral or unethical about that.

Motivation
You must be motivated. You cannot build your MLM business without motivation. No one else will build it for you so you need to be motivated and focused on your goals and you will reach them.

Leadership
This is a very important one. You need to provide leadership for your group. Leadership can be in many forms but essentially you want to be able to talk the talk and walk the walk. You have to be able to instil into your downline the success mentality and motivate and encourage them to be successful also.

All of these traits come before capital. If you don’t have these traits or aren’t willing to expose them within yourself then you would probably be better off working for someone else and spending your life trading time for dollars. If you do have these traits or are willing to work on them then MLM could be for you.

Like any business, you will need to inject some capital into it at some stage but with MLM the capital needed to be extremely successful is very small compared to a standard bricks and mortar business.

Before you setup your internet home business, there are 3 important things to know.

1. Choose the Highest Return with the Least Investment Programs!

If you are new to internet home business I suggest you not to start with MLM (Multi-Level-Marking) programs which require one time setup fee and Monthly Membership fee. If you don’t recruit enough people in a short period of time, you will keep losing money and end up to quit with loss. Too Much Risk! I recommend you try one of many programs require only one time fees. It will be nice if the program also has at least 2 or 3 tier payment structure. Extra commissions from your downlines could help you to build your wealth quicker! For your information, a 2 tier structure program offers a two tier payment structure. This means you get commissions from both the 1st tier, (you) and 2nd tier, (your down member).

2. Choose programs proven by others!

There are tons of money making programs out there and they all insist their programs REALLY work. Unfortunately, there is no such a program guarantees you to make a fortune. However, you can reduce the risk by choosing programs already proven by others.

3. Target to make few hundred bucks from each program!

Do not expect to earn thousands of dollars from just one program in a short period. If you are not experienced, it is difficult to make a big money with one program. Think differently! Set your goal as few hundred bucks from one program, and do few of different programs. For example, if your goal is to make $1,750 for first month, do not expect to make from one program. Try to make $350 from each of 5 different programs. Once you get experienced, you would have your own know-how. Eventually, your income would be increased multiplied by number of programs.

7. Should Leave You Some Free Time To Enjoy Your Success: One of the joys of working from home in your own business is that it should not take up every second of your waking day. There’s no commuting to start with so use that time sensibly. If you are looking for a full time commitment then treat it as that but model your day on the standard working day. You have a life to enjoy therefore it should take up as little of your time as possible, even when worked on a “full-time” basis How does 15 minutes a day sound?

Start off with a small to medium inventory. You can lower the price in your auction just enough as needed to get more sales or raise the price just enough as needed to cover your costs and profits if you came in too low.

After a while if the item sells well, then you can buy more from your supplier than you did on the first order.

There will be more new visitors and customers going to your auction site or store and any improvements you add to the setup and design will inrcrease your sales in the current and future auctions.

Do you ever spend any time, considering your own personal security? You should you know! After all it is YOUR security we are talking about. Let’s take a quick look. You spend a lot of money making sure that you have adequate insurance cover for your house, all of your house contents, your other items of value, and a lot of other things too, but did you insure your job? You can’t do that, you think? Well, in a sense, yes you can. You should too, because what will happen if you suddenly, for any reason, happen to lose your job? How are you going to live and pay all the bills, and how long will it take you to find another job? Serious stuff. Spend a bit of time and think about it.

You know, you already have the answer. Isn’t it true that you do hoard at home, heaps of spare stuff, so that if something breaks down or needs replacement, you just get the spare out, and away you go again? Fine, you don’t even think twice about it! OK, so why can’t you have a spare job, so that if one goes bung, all you do is just plug in your spare, and away you go?

Sound a bit like I’m talking about a second job? Wrong, I’m not! Second jobs are generally a waste of time. You’re working for a boss, spending 10 hrs. a week or so, doing something you’re not the least bit interested in, for which you’re getting paid a pittance, and to add insult to injury, you will be required to pay tax at your top going rate! “No sir!” What I am talking about, is the idea of setting up your own automated home business, on the internet. The main reason people set up a home business is to have low overheads, escape the daily traffic jams and be the boss. But working from home also creates a feeling of isolation and when motivation is low it evens become difficult just going through your emails.

If you have an internet business and you live alone the problems just get compounded. There will be days at a time when you do not meet another living soul. So how do you beat the business blues?

Here are some tips:

Join a fitness club and pop out every time your energy levels start sagging. You do not need to use the gym every time… sometimes you can go straight to the wet area.

Get into the habit of having lunch somewhere nice that is not too expensive. At least you will be see some (live) people and be fresh when you get back to the office. Meet a friend for lunch now and again. Chatting about something else apart from will help to break up the day.

Keep some plants in the office and have some fish in an aquarium. Alternatively keep a cat or dog as a pet. They make great companions and a dog will even accompany you when you go for a walk!

Make a collection of your favourite music and have a decent stereo in the office. You can listen to some soothing music when you are feeling low or something more upbeat if you are feeling motivated.

Try and take regular breaks. The great thing about working from home is that you can pop into the kitchen and rustle up a snack or if the weather is nice do a spot of gardening! In the military they did a test on soldiers who marched for hours without a rest.

They analysed soldiers who had a five minute break each hour. Guess what… the soldiers who had a short break every hour actually ended up marching further than the soldiers who did not stop at all!

Join at least one networking organisation. There are many different types. Some meat early in the mornings, others at lunch and some meet after work. Some meet weekly whilst others meet every month. Join the one that fits in with your lifestyle and get into the habit of attending it regularly.

You can now even network online with like minded people. There are many types of business networks on the internet. One advantage of being a member is that most people are more than willing to help if you have any questions that need answering.

Finally ensure that you have a dedicated office at home. Spend some money and buy new desks and chairs. Ensure that the lighting is soft so that you do not get tired so quickly.

Bear in mind that if you work from home you will probably spend a lot of time in your home and it is essential that you enjoy working there.
