The cost to become an independent distributor to start a home based business with ITV Ventures varies from $165 to $499. You also get your own website which comes with a nice business presentation.

The compensation plan is lucrative and is setup so you can make money in 16 different ways but just like all multi-level-marketing business opportunities, the plan is complicated to understand.

Basically, you make residual income, each time someone joins ITV Ventures as an independent distributor through you. You make anywhere from 2% to 8% commission for every product sold through you.

The Cons:

Although you have the advantage of having millions of viewers watch the infomercials each week, you still are responsible for driving traffic to your website and having people sign-up for ITV Ventures directly through you and buy the products directly through you if want to make significant money.

ITV Ventures does not provide extensive training on how to find and drive targeted prospects to your business.

The price to get started is on the high end when compared to other network marketing businesses, but one can argue the value you receive from the infomercial advertising and credibility may be worth the higher cost.

Also, I am still unclear myself as to what happens to all the money made from the products sold from customers calling the 1-800 number on the infomercials themselves. Whether the money is shared among all distributors or whether the money goes directly to Donald Barrett and his partners, is an issue I admit I am not clear on.

But I do know, you get commissions for all product sales and new distributor sign-ups through your personal website.

In Conclusion:

Donald Barrett of ITV Ventures said, “If you can’t make it in this business, you can’t make it in any business.”

The truth is all businesses are difficult at first but as long as you have the proper training, you will eventually be successful as long as you are persistent.

I believe the products of ITV Ventures are of high quality and in high demand. Plus they will always be adding more products that are in high demand for as long as they stay in business.

However, no matter how good the product is, statistically 95% of people who join a multi level marketing type business model will fail because they don’t know how to find and drive targeted prospects to their websites inexpensively.

My recommendation would be to first gain the knowledge of how to correctly market online and offline before you go into any business. Once you have the knowledge of how to correctly market, ITV Ventures may be a business you would like to join if you believe in what you’re selling. As I previously stated, I believe the products are of high value.

You can learn how to market correctly by getting involved with a business that will provide real training as part of the business or finding a coach or a mentor who will teach you as an additional benefit of joining a particular business through them. You may be able to find an ITV mentor or a mentor with another program.
