There is a vast amount of information about how to build a good business website out there. There are three key points to building a good business website. These vital points can easily be lost in the technical aspect of building a website. They are very important though, to the user. A website should be easy to use. A visitor should be able to navigate the site without hassle. This means they do not need to be bombarded with pop up adverts or have to search for anything. Everything needs to be right there for them and they should be able to see easily how shopping and checking out works.
Point 2:
It Should Be Informative.
Online users are used to websites that are informative and actually offer them something. Most people will simply leave a website if they can’t get the information they want from it. People are spoilt, but that doesn’t matter. A website needs a section with a blog or articles that will allow the user to get some useful information.
Point3:
It Should Be Clear and Simple.
This goes alongside being easy to use. A website shouldn’t be cluttered or difficult to figure out. People are not going to work to get to anything on a website, if they can’t figure it out then they will leave. Menus should be clear and every aspect of the shopping experience should be clear and simple.
To ensure a website meets these three points, the business owner should try it out before actually going live. They should go through the website and make sure it is not confusing or that there is too much on any page. It’s also a very good idea, to put up a survey that allows visitors to say what they do and do not like about the site.
Making sure these three points are covered will really help to make a website a success. It can be a big boost for a home business, as well. People want a good experience and a good experience includes a website that is easy to use, informative and clear. This is all something that can be worked into the final steps of building a website. Once the technical things are handled, the focus can shift to making it user friendly and making it a website that people are going to want to visit.

Email is still an important marketing strategy for any home based business owner. Without the proper subject line your email is likely to get trash before the recipient ever gets to the body of email, rendering you campaign efforts useless.
When you’re creating your email subject line keep the recipient in mind. You are one of many emails staring them in face and vying for their attention.
Here are a few tips and strategies to keep in mind as you create that so very important subject line.
One great tip is to use the recipient’s name. People love the personal touch. Test this in your autoresponder, nothing worse than getting “Hello {FRIST_NAME}”, this looks unprofessional and will go right to the trash.
Second the subject line must address a pain or desire of the recipient. It should answer the questions:
What’s in this for me?
Why should I open this first?
Why do I care?
Top name marketers have spent a life time addressing this topic and only a few meet the criteria to get your email opened.
Make your reader curious -Try suggesting that the reading is missing out on something important from your business opportunity niche (e.g., “Tony, are you making this common mistake?). Leaving something to the imagination by posing a question the recipient can’t ignore will get the email opened.
Create a sense of urgency — You can do this suggesting limited time or limited quantity (e.g., “Sandy, there’s only 48 hours left” or “Sandy, only 27 copies available.). This type of subject line works well with follow up emails. Use it sparingly, so it stays believable.
Share important news or information — Make the recipient feel they are the first ones to hear this important information, (e.g., “Michael, here’s the just release back issue”).
Let the recipient know how they can benefit –Make a clear statement as to how they can benefit from opening this email, how they will save money, time or how it can change their lives, (e.g., “Tony, save $50.00 on all flights made this month”).
If you use these few simple ideas you will begin to see a dramatic increase in your opened emails and profits for your home based business.

I agree with my good friends Rob and Ravyn Nyte from The Work At Home Forum. I don’t really like the word Downline. It’s too impersonal. These are people with families, hopes and dreams, with goals for the future, with people who love them. How much do you know about the people “dowline” from you? Do they have any pets, hobbies, aspirations? If you don’t know much about them, you need to get to know them. My Dad was in sales for years, big company, lots of sales reps under him. Everyday we see more companies offering work online. There are many reasons for this. There is a real demand for people working from home rather than traveling everyday to a typical day job. It’s also a win-win situation for the companies. The overhead associated with online employees is much less than with someone sitting in a store or an office.
There are many different types of work at home opportunities being offered. You will see Data Entry, Type at Home, Coupon Processing, Paid Surveys, Mystery Shoppers, E-mail Processing and Rebate Processing, just to mention a few.
One of the most popular, in my view, over the past (6) six months is rebate processing. I believe this is because this is a task that most people can relate too. Almost all of us have used a rebate at some time or another and it makes sense to us. When people look for work online they look for things they feel they can do that fall within their comfort zone. Working at home is a new concept to many people and they will try and stay well within their comfort zone.
I can tell you from personal experience that it is indeed very nice to be able to work from the comfort of your home. It took me a little time to build up my income, but then again I was looking to make more than a few thousand dollars a month. It gives you the opportunity to spend more time doing the things you enjoy.
I noticed that out of all of the rebate companies, many seemed quite similar, but quite a few were charging a lot of money for programs that offered nothing more than the rebate company I found for 1/4 of the price. It’s like anything on the Internet
This brings up another important aspect of the online environment. Make sure that you use a website like mine, but not necessarily mine, that has done some level of research or be prepared to do the research yourself. Do not just jump into any program that offers to pay you the moon for doing nothing.
Make sure that you feel comfortable doing the task required, have some free time to do so, ensure the program can meet your income goals and that you have the skill sets to do the job. Most people do.
Once you have done this join, read the step-by-step guidance carefully, work hard and exercise patience. Remember you will have to do some work at home to get paid. If you do not do any work it’s guaranteed you will fail and not make a dime. Nothing comes for free.
