Believe it or not there are still some honest people on the Internet. They are not all con artists or scammers. Of course they are a little more difficult to locate because they spend most of their time doing research and trying to get information out to the people that are looking for it. Not dreaming up their newest scam.
I have spent thousands of hours on the Internet locating legitimate businesses and websites that have legitimate opportunities for people. I have tried many of the so called business start ups and great opportunities and found out they were no more than some elaborate con job. Did I get my money back? No! And you probably won’t either.
So how do you tell the good guys from the bad? First of all, unless you are use to dealing with scams they are not that easy to identify. They have gone to great lengths to disguise themselves.
I would say any time you see piles of money on a website or in an ad run! I have not run across a legitimate job opportunity or business start up that has pictures of money plastered all over their pages. If you feel like they are yelling at you, (use of a lot of capital letters, bold printing, red bold print and yellow highlighting) it should be a warning sign.
Don’t be discouraged there really is help out there. Do searches for specific jobs, instead of just typing in the word jobs or jobs on line. I have done my own search on those words and most of them lead to a scam of some sort.
If you are unsure about what you may want to do or what is available in on line opportunities, look for websites that have multiple listings. For example they have information on more than one type of job. They have links to data entry positions, customer service positions, freelance writing and or job searches. These type of websites usually are on the up and up. Scams are generally concentrated in a particular venue or niche. That way they can move on to another one when the one they are using is no longer profitable for them.
We have been trying for over a year to help people find legitimate opportunities via the Internet, if you are interested in looking for a business opportunity or a job visit our website for more information. There are links to businesses, job opportunities, information about scams and we are adding more all the time.
