Immediate results are dependent on utilizing the new marketer’s strengths while working on improving his or her weaknesses. If immediate results are not realized, the marketer may get frustrated and quit, never fully realizing his income potential.

The assessment must be complete and detailed. All of the skills that are relevant to future marketing campaigns must be analyzed. Again, every person is different and what will work for some won’t work for others. For example, the new web 2.0 technology allows personal branding to be a very effective marketing tool, but not every new marketer will have the skills to capitilize on this technique early in their internet marketing career. Other marketing strategies must be used to let these newcomers generate some income as they build their businesses.

This self assessment is crucial to the success of any new internet marketer, but even more important is taking ACTION on the knowledge that this self assessment produces. Knowledge will only go so far, but its repeated action on this knowledge that will result in actual dollars.
