Too Many MLM Companies, TOO Few MLM Distributors

There are many people in the USA who work MLM Programs. There are literally miilions of people who utilize this method of business operation to make a fulltime income or in order to attain one. The MLM Business has certainly matured since the days of Amway or Shaklee.

With the advent of better technologies, namely the Computer and the Internet, there has been a proliferation of MLM Company startups. At first, this created extra opportunities for the average MLM distributor. Lately, however this phenomonon has hurt the MLM distributor.

The significant amount of opportunities available today has limited the average MLMer to recruit from the same pool of available distributors. It has also contributed to a state of confusion in the MLM Marketplace. With so many MLM Companies to choose from, how can you be sure you are making the right decision. If a small amount of difficulty develops, don’t worry, the Greatest MLM startup will occurr and be anounced in the afternoon’s email! A lot of jumping from company to company occurs because of the phenomenon.

The number of MLM companies has increased at such a startling pace that it is a wonder that any of them can survive and recriut a distribution force that will allow the company to survive. Marketing and Sales tactics must change to accomodate the new market environment. Most new distributors will be unable to meet this challenge.

The new level of competition will require that the MLM distributor go outside the available pool of distributors to recruit a sales force. This will expand the distributor base and allow the MLMer to recruit to a wider audience. More training will be needed to bring the new “outsider” up to speed. This takes a lot of time but will result in a very important aspect of MLM which builds relationships

“Relationship Building” is what MLM used to be all about. When you think about it, this concept alone created the security needed for a secure residual income. Today we hide behind a website, never interacting with our prospects. Building relationships is the core concept behind MLM.

Survival of the new MLM distributor will depend upon the system used to recruit for him or her. If the newbie has access to leads, autoresponders etc and can profit from them by adding additional income streams, they can more easily overcome those difficult first couple of months in business. Any tactic that can help your new distributor prosper, will increase your chance of success.

The MLM Business is one of the last bastions of entrepreneurship available today. Use the underlying principles of building relationships and duplication and you will succeed.
